Coaching For Network Marketers
"I would rather make 1% on the efforts of 100 people than 100% on my own efforts."
— J. Paul Getty
If you're bogged down, burned out, or simply frustrated
with your
Network Marketing business, here is the solution:
Coaching is a partnership.
Very often, the key to changing a negative situation lies first in changing yourself. Learning new skills, updating old ones, setting expectations that are more realistic, and re-examining previously held attitudes are all part of the evolutionary process. A Network Marketing coach can help you gain the insight you need in order to understand the path to your future.
Why are you in Network Marketing? What are your personal and professional goals? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What special skills and abilities do you have? What knowledge and experiences will other people find valuable? Many Network Marketers hold themselves back because they are uncertain or confused about which direction to take. That’s why a coaching partnership is so beneficial. It’s a non-judgmental relationship with a partner who is committed to helping you find your own route to success. Together we discover unexplored capabilities you never realized you had, talents that are undeveloped and waiting to be opened up, and opportunities you never knew existed!
You can expect to experience a fresh perspective on personal challenges and business opportunities with me. We work in partnership to decide how and where these issues can be addressed and the specific kind of development that is needed to enrich them. We may talk about business strengths and weaknesses, strategize to accelerate growth—personally and/or professionally—or even respond quickly to an immediate challenge, but ultimately, transformation is our goal. In the process, what I want for you is to be on a clear and well-grounded financial track that will allow you to be financially independent.
When you have someone to toss ideas around with, someone who expands your thinking, you end up with synergy.
Coaching expands your thinking.
What can you do to create positive and lasting change in your Network Marketing business? Expand your own thinking! Network Marketing is a straightforward process that first requires understanding, exploring, and decision-making in your life and with your family before you can create a dynamic team. Ask yourself, what are my core values, my strengths and limitations, and how do they affect the people around me?
Any future direction is closely related to current commitment. What plans do you have for building a business? How can you attract enthusiastic, productive team members to help make your dream come true? New people coming on board will inevitably look to you for technical expertise, guidance, and solutions. The more you develop yourself as you expand your skills and abilities, the more attractive you will be to them, and the more profitable your business will become.
Whatever you put up with, endure, or tolerate, is a barrier standing in the way of your personal and professional success.
Coaching is a powerful tool.
What are you putting up with right now? What's bugging you, irritating you, or frustrating you, and what's it costing you to tolerate these things? Most tolerations can be eliminated, but first they have to be identified. Through your personal vision of wants, needs, values, and goals, I focus directly on the challenge you are having and work with you to clarify and develop a strategy for your success, with less stress.
Coaching is the process of helping you move from the present into the future by accomplishing the goals you set for yourself. This self-awareness process indicates a shift from one place to another. Only you can make the shift, but I can help create a rich environment for this growth to occur.
I know it's possible, under the right circumstances, to build a dream income in Network Marketing. I did, but it took great effort. Even during difficult times, I learned to hold the vision intact. Network Marketing coaching is a powerful tool to help you hold your vision. The process of coaching may take us over many paths, covering a great deal of territory with many diversions and side trips. If you start to lose your vision along the way, I will help you hold on to it, based upon what you have determined is important. When you have a coach to toss ideas around with—someone who expands your thinking—you end up with synergy.
Strategic planning can take you from where you are now to where you envision yourself in the future.
Coaching helps you strategize.
Strategy is an important part of my coaching technique. The best strategy is the one that helps you bridge a gap—from where you are, here and now, to where you want to be. In fact, the foundation for this approach is the structural basis that supports an exceptional life. Do you have a well-planned, carefully-implemented strategy in place for you personally and for your Network Marketing business? Has this been effectively communicated to other team members?
Strategizing may include setting priorities, visualizing them, setting goals to achieve the priorities, and charting progress. My Network Marketing coaching technique is based on practicality. You come to me to achieve certain goals, and we work together to accomplish them. This may be a complex process, with many goals simultaneously on the table, or one biggie—a target goal. In either event, when done properly, strategizing is one of the primary activities in a coaching relationship.
I spent five years in the industry building an organization to over 8,000 strong, and earned a six-figure income by year three. In year two, I was able to sell my retail brick and mortar store that I had had for 18 years. My Network Marketing team was listed among the company’s top 75 moneymakers month after month. There was little start-up cost, as well as a proven business formula and a flexible schedule. We worked from home, and the risk was relatively low. Along the way, I learned that, although most people in Network Marketing start out like I did, as part-timers, the vast majority eventually lose money. The challenge of juggling a full-time job, family, and other daily activities can make it a definite struggle. As a result, many of my team dropped out along the way. In retrospect, what I needed most was the help of a coach who could have enabled me to maintain my team’s vision and integrity.
A passionate belief can motivate people to continue toward larger goals.
A student of the process.
Because of my passionate belief in the principles of Network Marketing, I became a student of the formulaic process. I began writing monthly product and business newsletters for a variety of Network Marketing companies and their distributors. This included The Essential Health News, The Essential Business News, and The Essential E-Zine. I also wrote the script for the best-selling recruiting audiotape, Just What The Doctor Ordered featuring Dr. John T. Schaefer.
I scripted and co-hosted weekly nation-wide Network Marketing conference calls, spoke to small groups and assemblies at national conventions. I published how-to booklets and brochures, which included the Money Making Guidebook, a manual for avoiding common customer service pitfalls and maximizing the benefits of using newsletters to help promote business.
I worked closely with top Network Marketing team leaders to promote greater success among their distributors. I read dozens of books, listened to hundreds of audiotapes, and learned that no matter how much I dreamed of success, it was also important to overcome three common problems most Network Marketers experience.
1. Most Network Marketers do not allow enough time to build their business.
2. Most Network Marketers do not develop enough skill and expertise to inspire others.
3. Most Network Marketers do not follow-through with their goals.
You build your business every day because you like your business, not because you have to. Attitude is everything!
You think about the prospecting or recruiting possibilities on a regular basis and go about sponsoring new people because that is what it takes to make your business grow.
You develop a thorough knowledge of both the products and the business by reading, listening to tapes, and asking questions.
You set goals for yourself and strive to meet them every day.
You personify success. People want to associate with others who are successful.
You establish and maintain regular communication via newsletter, direct mail, e-mail, etc. Others will become inspired and gain confidence knowing of your concern and availability.
You’re accessible through phone, voice mail, pager, or e-mail—whatever it takes. Remember, you’re important and people need to be able to contact you.
You’re committed to your own success, despite the learning or growth curves you encounter. You’ll have so much fun in your business that others will be eager to join you!
