What is coaching for Real Estate Professionals?

Approach, not avoid!

What challenges are you facing as a Real Estate Professional?
What consumes your time that isn’t making you money?
Would having some collaborative support be helpful?

In today’s highly competitive real estate market, the need to continually attract new ideas, opportunities, and resources is vital, which means your ability to handle day-to-day stress with calmness, clarity, and objectivity is essential. A collaborative relationship can help by creating a powerful alliance that builds upon the strength and integrity of its partners to set goals and promote self-esteem to achieve success.

Partnering is power!

How would you benefit from partnering with a coach?
What would be different if you worked with someone who is always in your corner?
Is there a particular issue you need to work on today?

A coaching/client relationship is a team, a creative partnering. Individuals who want to be coached are special people because they understand and value the power of synergy and partnership. As your partner, I apply my coaching skills to focus in on what you really want, and then devise a strategy that prepares you to go out and get it!

Trust and clarity

Do you feel empowered in your real estate profession?
Are there current perceptions and patterns of behavior you would like to change?
Are you looking for clarity?

In coaching Real Estate Professionals, my clients reach for much, much more because of the trust and clarity I provide. They make better decisions, because their focus is clear. They take more, better, and smarter actions because they set goals they really want. When people have a partner they trust, they will always reach for more because they can afford to!

1. The purchase of a home or investment property is often one of the most complex and significant financial events in people’s lives.

That's why buyers and sellers typically seek the help of a Real Estate Professional. As a coach, I understand that it’s also a time of great stress and pressure and a time when it’s easy to feel as though you’re not in control. Of course, no one has control all the time, but we do have the power to make good, enthusiastic choices to succeed or fail at what we attempt, as well as the power to be positive.

2. Real Estate Professionals often work evenings and weekends and usually are on call to suit the needs of their clients.

Real Estate Professionals need to know which neighborhoods best fit a client’s budget, plus local zoning and tax laws and where to obtain financing. They also act as intermediaries during price negotiations. In most cases, Real Estate Professionals assume primary responsibility for closing sales. As a coach, I recognize these are also constraints, which can often upset the delicate balance between quality personal and professional time. At such times, the distinction between self and work can be blurred very easily. I work with your wisdom, your energy level, and who you are to help you decide what's best for you.

3. Besides making sales, Real Estate Professionals must have properties to sell.

If a Real Estate Professional specializes, further knowledge of that particular type of property and clientele is required. There may also be several meetings with perspective buyers before a sale is made. Additionally, once the contract is signed, they must make sure that all special terms of the contract are met before the closing date. As a coach, I appreciate that fact that this is a time for you to stay focused on the actions you need to take while simultaneously avoiding distractions. Weaving one’s knowledge with living life to the fullest and sharing the outcome to positively impact others is an act focused on contribution at the highest level.

4. Studies show that, as real estate transactions become more legally complex, many firms have turned to college graduates to fill positions.

College courses in real estate, finance, business administration, statistics, economics, law, and English are helpful. For those who intend to start their own companies, business courses such as marketing and accounting are as significant as courses in real estate or finance. As a coach, I acknowledge that security and stability are especially important in life. When challenged, this is a perfect opportunity to establish and affirm where you are now and what’s next.

5. Starting out as a Real Estate Professional may be relatively easy, but…

Novice Real Estate Professionals may face stiff competition from well-established, more experienced counterparts in obtaining listings and closing sales. Even those who are well-trained and ambitious with extensive social and business connections often experience sensitivity swings due to market fluctuations. As a coach, I help you take a moment and acknowledge what you have already achieved and what it took to accomplish those things. We look at your strengths and your creative and problem-solving abilities.
